Craig A. Bowersox

Craig A. Bowersox, 52, of Rebersburg, passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Born Feb. 15, 1956 in Bellefonte, he was a son of the late Jay A. Bowersox, who died Nov. 22, 1988, and Frances E. Stover, who survives in Rebersburg.

Craig retired from the janitorial department at Penn State University.

He was a 1974 graduate of Penns Valley High School.

Craig was a member of Miles Township Fire Company, Bucktail Hunting Club and United Church of Christ in Rebersburg.

He enjoyed hunting, gardening and shopping.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Karen L. and Richard Hayes of Commerce City, Colo.; a brother, D. Keith and Michele Bowersox of Rockwell, N.C.; two nieces, Sarah R. Bowersox and Betsey E. Silano; and two nephews, Adam K. Bowersox and Michael L. Hayes.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. at United Church of Christ, Rebersburg, with the Rev. Thomas Searfoss officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Rebersburg.
