Katie Evelyn Schrack, daughter of Gene and Beth Schrack, Mill Hall, became the bride of Alexander Edward Poor, son of Alfred and Bebe Poor, Perkasie, on Sept. 13, 2008.
The 4:30 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Thomas Jones at the Great Island Presbyterian Church.
Maid of honor was Annie Fultz of Washington, D.C., friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Emily Myers of Maryland, Ashley Flick of Virginia, Katie Fina of Philadelphia and Elizabeth Shortledge of California, all friends of the bride, and Anna Platz of North Carolina, sister of the groom.

Peter Jennings of Philadelphia, friend of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Thomas Schrack of Bellefonte, brother of the bride, Leon Shao of Massachusetts, Jeremy Menkowitz of Philadelphia, Mark Udis of California and David Kepner of Texas, all friends of the groom.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the Clinton Country Club and the reception was held at the Durrwachter Alumni Center. The couple enjoyed their honeymoon in Aruba and now reside in Philadelphia.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Lock Haven High School, a 2003 graduate of Lafayette College and a 2007 graduate of Jefferson Medical College. She is in her second year of residency in Ophthalmology at Temple University Hospital.
Her husband is a 1999 graduate of Germantown Academy, a 2003 graduate of Washington and Lee University, and a 2007 graduate of Jefferson Medical College. He is in his second year of residency in general surgery at Hahnemann Hospital.
