SBDC to hold workshop
LOCK HAVEN The Small Business Development Center of Lock Haven University will hold an "Introduction to QuickBooks" workshop from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Oct. 20 at the SBDC office, 301 W. Church St.

Amber's Rose Bridal moves to Williamsport
WILLIAMSPORT - After over 20 years in business in Montoursville, Amber's Rose Bridal has moved to West Fourth Street, Williamsport.
"In downtown Williamsport we have more traffic and more people going by," said owner Amy Doebler on her business' recent move to 123 W. Fourth St. "It's in between Java Juice and Otto's Book Store. It's nice. We have a room where they can have some coffee and have some lunch. It's more relaxed; more of a boutique-style store."
Amber's Rose Bridal offers clothing and accessories for all involved in weddings, from the bride to the bridesmaids, mother's gowns, flower girl dresses and tuxedos for the groom and groomsmen. Customers can also find gifts and party favors, Doebler said.
The business has been in operation for the last two decades, with the last 11 years under Doebler's ownership.
Hair Studio 35 attends Hershey show
LOCK HAVEN - The staff at Hair Studio 35 recently attended the Hershey Hair Show, where they had the opportunity to visit the expo floor and see and purchase new items for the upcoming fall and holiday season.
Carol Orndorf and her staff of Michelle Bixel and Dana Thompson, also saw platform work on holiday up styles, cutting techniques and creating a unique image for clients. They also took classes in Logics color areas of gray hair, reds, blondes and foiling technique.
