Arrested on a warrant
McELHATTAN Keith Fletcher, 23, of, 223 Shoemaker Road, McElhattan, was taken into custody by Pine Creek Township police Wednesday as a fugitive from justice.
Fletcher was wanted by the justice system in Orleans County, N.Y., on charges of harassment and criminal contempt, police said.
He is alleged to have threatened law enforcement officers when he was confronted at his residence, police said.
Fletcher was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Frank Mills and taken to the Clinton County Correctional Facility in default of $25,000 bail.
DUNNSTOWN David James Cox, 33, of 81 Riverhill Farms Lane, Woodward Township, was cited for simple assault Wednesday at 1:30 a.m., state police at Lamar said.
According to police, Cox shoved a 29-year-old female to the floor, climbed on top of her, placed both hands around her neck and choked her.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility pending further legal action.
AVIS A 52-inch Samsung LCD television valued at $2,968 was stolen in a burglary between Dec. 13 and Wednesday at the home of Michael Rainey, 28, of Boulevard Avenue, Avis, state police at Lamar said.
Anybody with information about the break-in is asked to call state police at 726-6000.
BEECH CREEK Somebody put roofing nails in two front tires of a skid steer late Tuesday or early Wednesday at a Beech Creek residence, state police at Lamar said.
Police said the vandalism occurred at the home of Pat McGhee, 49, of 276 Wynn Ave.
LOCK HAVEN A package delivered and left on the porch of a private residence at 763 E. Guardlock Drive, Dunnstable Township, was stolen, state police at Lamar said.
The victim was listed at Nadine M. McGraw, 27, of Lock Haven. The theft occurred Dec. 14, police said.
MILL HALL A burglary occurred at the Little Hollow Sportsmans Club along Scootac Road in Bald Eagle Township between Dec. 14 and Wednesday, state police at Lamar said.
Police said a window was broken to gain entry to the building, which was ransacked, but nothing was stolen.
MILL HALL Darlene Kay Moyer, 52, of Howard, was cited for retail theft Wednesday at Wal-Mart, 167 Hogan Blvd., Bald Eagle Township, state police said.
Police said Moyer attempted to remove several items of merchandise from the store.
