Richard and Alva Houser of Mill Hall celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 7, 2010 and were honored by their children at a party at the Aungst banquet room on Jan. 9.
They were married in Lock Haven on Jan. 7, 1950. Mr. Houser just recently retired from his job at Con-Stone in Arronsburg where he was a Dart Loader Operator.
The Housers have five children: Vickie Cross of Avis, Richard (Trudy) Houser of Mill Hall, Thomas (Karen) Houser of Mill Hall, Harry Houser of Mill Hall, and Betty (Doug) Lamey of Flemington. They are also blessed with 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
