Gerard (Jerry) Zeidler Jr. and Tara Young, both of Danville and former residents of Williamsport, announce their engagement.
Tara is the daughter of Clarence and the late Miriam Young of McElhattan. Jerry is the son of MaryAnn and Gerard Zeidler Sr. of Montoursville.
Tara is a 1989 graduate of Lock Haven High School. A student at McCann School of Business and Technology in Sunbury, she is working toward an associate degree in Medical Office Technology and plans to graduate in the spring of 2011. She is employed in the pathology department at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Jerry Zeidler Jr.
Jerry, a 1988 graduate of Bishop Neumann High School, is working on his bachelor degree in criminal justice with Penn State World Campus and will graduate in the summer of 2011. He is employed as a police officer with the Danville Police Department.
The wedding will be held on June 5, 2010 at the Danville Borough Ballroom.
