LOCK HAVEN - The St. Agnes Church Fair is coming.
The annual event, which begins Thursday and continues through Saturday on the church grounds on East Walnut Street, always draws large crowds and is one of the major fundraising events for the parish.
A variety of delicious fair foods will be available as will homemade candy and baked goods.
The kitchen will be open at noon daily for take-outs from a menu including soups, pierogi, halushki, hot dogs, hot sausage sandwiches, apple dumplings and more.
The outdoor food booths will open at 5 p.m. with tables and chairs provided. Complimentary coffee will be available at the hospitality booth.
In addition to games for all ages, the fair features books, crafts, plants, jewelry, theme baskets and "Trash or Treasure." These booths open at 6 p.m.
Live entertainment will be provided by Dixie Land on Thursday, Snug on Friday and Loose Cannons on Saturday.
The traditional Mass of Thanksgiving will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Should the weather turn inclement for one or more days of the fair, the fun will be continued into Sunday, Aug. 1, from noon to 6 p.m.
