BOWES - The annual Bowes reunion was held at Bald Eagle State Park with 51 family members present. It will be held at the same place in pavilion six on the second Sunday in August next year.
food and games were enjoyed by all. Prizes were awarded to Barry Bowes, the oldest; Crue and Cade Watkins, youngest; 50-50 Lita Muthler and other prize winners were Dana Masden, Misty coakley, Jacque Watkins, Corinne Muthler, Kelly Falotico and Lita Muthler.
Officers remained the same: Kline Williams, president; Dave Bower, vice president; Jacque Watkins, secretary; Jen Ann Kough, treasurer. Deah Bowes is on the game committee. Deah and helpers Vickie Bowes and Michelle Shady did a great job this year.

Everyone signed a card to send to Heidi Spangler, daughter of Andy and Sylvia Spangler, wishing her a speedy and full recovery after she was injured on June 16 when a tree fell on her while she was jogging in Pittsburgh.
Those who graduated college in 2010 are Lita Muthler, Arlene Bowes and Brittany Kilmer. Lukes Coakey is a 2010 high school grad.
