Rollie M. Shadle Sr., 65, of Youngdale Road, Lock Haven died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 at his residence.
He was born in Lock Haven March 28, 1945, the son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Baysore) Shadle.
Rollie was married on Dec. 10, 1964 to the former Audrey L. Merryman.

He was a mason and he worked in the construction field. He also worked at the former American Color & Chemical of Lock Haven.
He was a member of the VFW and Castanea Fire Company. He also enjoyed camping, hunting, gardening, miniature antique car collecting.
Surviving are his wife and his mother Elizabeth Overdorf of Jersey Shore; one son Rollie M. Shadle Jr. of McElhattan; three daughters Jody (Steve) Meredith, Lucinda "Cindy" Shadle and Bobbie Jo Crist all of Lock Haven; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two brothers Charles D. Shadle of Linden and Glenn E. (Nancy) Shadle of Jersey Shore, and a sister Marie E. (Paul) Bowmaster of McElhattan; a sister-in-law Cathy S. Bennett of Lock Haven and several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-ceded in death by his father in 2009 and one son Daniel N. Shadle in 1989, and a grandson Steven Meredith Jr. in 1985.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, with Pastor T.R. Hardic officiating.
Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
