Leona Ragano of Jersey Shore got her birthday wish. Leona, who turned 90 years old on Monday, Oct. 4. said her birthday wish was to take an airplane ride. Friends contacted Piper Airport in Lock Haven and requested a flight. Ed Watson was kind enough to grant her wish and flew her from Lock Haven to Jersey Shore, and back through Pine Creek Valley and Renovo. It was a beautiful, clear day and a smooth flight. She has always loved to travel, but has not been in a plane for a few years. She enjoyed the birds-eye view of the where she was born and raised.
