Monsignor Neil J. Van Loon, V.E. and Rev. Bert S. Kozen officiated at the ceremony held at Saint Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Jersey Shore.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Venture Inn, Pine Creek, and a reception was held at the home of Ralph and Denise Hershberger Jr.

The bride is the daughter of Denise and Ralph Hershberger Jr., Jersey Shore. She graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 1999 and received her degree in Graphic Design from Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts. She is the manager of Creative Services for Online Resources Corporation, Chantilly, Va.
The groom is the son of Deborah and Daniel Briel, Williamsport. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1991 and received his degree in Business Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is the senior manager of Knowledge Management for Savvis Communications, Herndon,Va.
Matron of honor was Devin Hamlin, Jersey Shore, sister of the bride. Flower girl was Eleanor Frisch, Baltimore, Md., niece of the groom. Ring bearers were Richard and Patrick Hamlin, Jersey Shore, nephews of the bride. Best man was Timothy Hill, Williamsport.
The couple resides in Reston, Va.
