Announcement has been made of the engagement of Michelle Christine Keches, daughter of John and Diane Keches of Mill Hall, to Melvin Leroy Hesser Jr., son of Roberta Hesser of McVeytown and the late Melvin Hesser, Sr.
Michelle is a 1999 graduate of Bald Eagle-Nittany High School and a 2005 graduate of Penn State University with a BS in Nutritional Sciences. She is employed by Bi-County WIC as a nutritionist.
Mel is a 2000 graduate of Lewistown Area High School, a 2004 graduate of Penn State with a BS in Music Education and a 2009 graduate of Wilkes University with an MA in Education. He is employed by Mifflin County School District as a middle school music teacher.
