- "Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story" (G) - July 7-10, July 13-17. The ups and downs of one of rock n' roll's most influential musicians who, by the age of 22, had it all. The feel-good evening of hits like "That'll Be the Day," "Peggy Sue" and "It's so Easy" will make audiences believe again in music's power to change the world.
- "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" (PG-13) - July 21-24, July 27-31. The hilarious Tony Award-winning musical tells the story of six quirky, charming adolescent over-achievers vying to become the spelling bee champion of the county.
- "The Odd Couple" (PG-13) -Aug. 4-7 and Aug. 10-14. The Tony Award-winning comedy by Neil Simon about two divorced men sharing an apartment - clean-freak Felix and casual, sloppy Oscar - lead to a five-year TV hit starring Tony Randall and Jack Klugman. Millbrook's production will be a must-see with the pairing of audience favorites Tom Caska and Marc de la Concha!
CABARET
- "Love, Sex & the I.R.S." (PG-13) - June 30-July 3, July 6-10 - A wild farce about two out-of-work musicians rooming together who file their tax returns as "married" to save money. When the IRS shows up, Leslie does what any red-blooded American man would do -he dresses up as a woman to avoid a tax penalty. The show is written by the same team as last season's "What the Bellhop Saw" and will feature Nick Wilder from that production.
- "The Mousetrap" (PG-13) - July 14-17 and July 20-24. An evening of superb intrigue from Agatha Christie, the foremost mystery writer of her time, the New York Times calls it "one of the most skillfully written murder mysteries ever produced."
- "Fat Pig" (PG-13) - July 28-31 and Aug. 3-7. Don't let the title fool you - this show is an unlikely romantic comedy. Tom falls in love with a bright, funny, plus-sized woman he meets by chance. She's different from his neurotic, high-strung slim girlfriends. Will he be able to trust in love?
- "Ain't Misbehavin'" (PG) - Aug. 11-14 and Aug. 17-21. Harlem in the 1930s comes alive in this swinging, finger-snapping Tony Award-winning revue that is still considered one of Broadway's best.
