CASTANEA - The membership of Big Woods Bible Church recently voted to accept Pastor Tim Boger as senior pastor. The church meets in the former Castanea Elementary School.

Pastor Boger and his wife, Wendy, are currently making arrangements to move to the Lock Haven area from Lakeland, Fla. They have two children. Seth is attending Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit. Sarah is a senior at Lakeland Christian School and plans to attend Palm Beach Atlantic University in the fall.

The pastor was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Washington Bible College where he met Wendy. After graduating, he taught for four years at Halifax Christian Academy in Nova Scotia. He was then called to pastor at Cary Baptist Church in Maine where he served from 1995 through 2004. From 2004 through 2010 he was senior pastor at Sturtevant Chapel in Keene, N.H. He and Wendy have been enjoying a sabbatical in Florida and are now prepared to return to full-time ministry.
