Clyde Miller retires after 22 years of service

Sgt. 1st Class Clyde Miller of Lock Haven, center, shown with his wife Melissa and Lt. Col Jeffrey Doll, commander 2nd Battalion, 310th Regiment, retired from active duty after 22 years of combined military service during a ceremony April 8 at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. Miller, who originally enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1989, has been deployed in support of Operation Desert Storm, The Former Republics of Yugoslavia, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and most recently Operation Enduring Freedom in Kabul, Afghanistan during his combined service career. Miller was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal during the ceremony for his outstanding service in the Army since 1996, most recently with the 2nd Battalion, 310th Regiment.
