APPLAUSE to Justin Kline for organizing the Mid-State Classic again held at Beech Creek. This is the sixth year he has taken charge of this fun-filled weekend for area ball players. Also, applause to Wyatt Koch for winning the home run derby with 10 hits, and Talon Falls who came in a close second with nine hits. Applause to Tyler McCloskey for winning the road runner competition. It was a fun weekend for the ball players and parents watching. Again, thank you, Justin, for your hard work.
APPLAUSE to Rebecca Forbes, Dena Gillen, Jerry Humphrey, Deb Liguori, Laura Sproat and Betsy Webb for completing their 36 hours of Master Gardener classes and passing their final exam.
