n A fellowship supper will be held at Sunset Memorial Church on Monday, June 20 at 5:30 p.m. Bring a dish to share and join us.
n The church service at New Maple Grove Chapel was very good. Dean lead the singing and also sang a couple solos. Pastor Mahlon Nevel had the service.
After the service some of us went to Kettle Creek Inn where we enjoyed the food and a time of sharing.
n A reminder: The snake hunt at Cross Fork will be June 25 and 26. It is one of the fire company's biggest fundraisers. That week will be work week at the fire hall, getting things ready. So if you have some time free, lend a hand. It will be appreciated.
n Jim and Sharon Younger of Montgomery visited Ann Pharis on Sunday, June 5, and also attended the church service and the time of fellowship at the inn.
n Mary and Bill Arnold spent Thursday till Sunday, June 2 to 5, with Julia Leady at Douglasville. Julia's parents, Jen and Pat, were at the Phillies and the Pirates ballgame.
