The Bowes reunion was held Sunday, Aug. 14, at Bald Eagle State Park with 57 people present. Next year's reunion will be at the same place on the second Sunday in August.
Kline Williams was elected president for 2012.
Prizes were awarded to the oldest, Barry Bowes; the youngest, Crue and Cade Watkins; married the longest, Ron and JoAnn Bowes; most recently baked cookies, Brandi Wilson; most grandchildren, Pat Confer and made spaghetti last, Vicki Bowes.
Deaths in the past year were Edgar and Jean Ann Kough and Miles Watkins. Marriages were Lee Bowes and Pamela Sotomayor, son of Ronald and JoAnn Bowes, and Dana and Brenda Wise Masden. High school graduates were Chelsea Williams, daughter of Kline and Lisa Williams, and Dillon Watkins, son of Corey Watkins.
Deah Bowes was in charge of games and did a great job.
