LOCK HAVEN - High Holidays observances at Beth Yehuda Synagogue on West Church Street continue next week, and the Jewish community in Lock Haven invites everyone to attend.
The observances include Kol Nidre at 8 p.m. Friday which ushers in Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement). A Yom Kippur observance is planned for 10 a.m. next Saturday. Yom Kippur is the most solemn day in the Jewish calendar and is often considered the holiest day of the Jewish year.
