Retail theft

MILL HALL - Autumn Wynn, 18, of Williamsport, and a 17-year-old male were cited Thursday for retail theft, Trooper William Ritrosky of the State Police at Lamar said.

Police said Wynn and the teen were caught trying to steal $37.76 in merchandise from Wal-mart Super Center, 167 Hogan Blvd., Bald Eagle Township.

Auto accident

McElhattan - Michael B. Smith, 27, of Lock Haven, crashed his 1997 Dodge Avenger on Route 220 Thursday at 8:46 a.m., Trooper Michael J. Flook of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.

Police said Smith was driving south when the steering mechanism for the left front tire failed. The Avenger traveled off the road and crashed into an embankment, police said.

There were no injuries.

Underage drinking

JERSEY SHORE - Two teens have been cited for underage drinking Nov. 5, Tiadaghton Valley regional police said.

Citations were issued to Jared Hart, 19, of Allegheny Street, and Chloe Philippen, 19, of Hummelstown, passengers in a vehicle stopped on High Street by police.

Retail theft

JERSEY SHORE - A 16-year-old girl was caught stealing Pop-Tarts and Tasty Kake from a Uni-Mart on Bridge Street Oct. 27, Tiadaghton Valley regional police said.

Disorderly conduct

JERSEY SHORE - Anthony Fuller, 43, of Waterville was cited for disorderly conduct Oct. 28 after Tiadaghton Valley regional police were called to a disturbance at the Elks Club.

Police said Fuller struck another person, left the scene and was found at a friends house in town. He was taken to Lycoming County Prison on a probation detainer, police said.

Theft from vehicle

MILL HALL -A CD play was stolen late Wednesday or early Thursday from a construction vehicle owned by McGhee Excavation of Beech Creek, Trooper Eric T. Kline of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.

Police said the vehicle had been parked near Route 150 in Bald Eagle Township when the theft occurred.

Two-vehicle accident

WOOLRICH - A two-vehicle crash occurred Wednesday at 6:40 p.m. on Route 150 in Pine Creek Township, Trooper Eric T. Kline of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.

Police said Paul W. Karstetter, 37, of Jersey Shore was driving his 1996 Chevrolet 1500 on Route 150 when he tried to turn left and failed to provide the right of way to a Ford F0-350 Super Duty driven by Alvin N. Nichols, 35, of Jersey Shore.

An 11-year-old passenger in the Karstetter auto received a minor injury in the crash, police said.
