LOCK HAVEN - The Toys for Tots campaign is now in full swing and is sponsored by the Bucktail Detachment No. 856 of the Marine Corps League.
Collection boxes have been placed throughout Clinton County. The public may drop off donations in them until Dec. 16.
Detachment Commandant John Tarantella, this year's Toys for Tots coordinator, has already held his annual "shopping spree" at Toys R Us to supplement the gifts that will appear in the collection boxes.
He and 30 volunteers kicked off the project with a breakfast Oct. 29, then delivered the boxes to various points the first week of November.
Everyone dropping off toys should leave them unwrapped.
