Provost Scholars

The following area students have been recognized as a Provost Scholar at Indiana University of Pennsylvania: Tabitha N. Mantle of Avis, Sophia O. Hosterman of Lock Haven, Kelly A. Muthler of Lock Haven, Lauren K. Dwyer of Mill Hall, and Brittany A. Spicer of Howard.

Andrew Rhoades

Andrews Rhoads of Lock Haven has been named to the dean's list for the Fall 2011 Semsester at Gettysburg College.

Brittany Bauman

Brittany Bauman was named to the dean's list at Slippery Rock University for the Fall 2011 semester.

Brittany, the daughter of Thomas and Sheila Bauman of Lock Haven, is a senior majoring in Exercise Science and is currently completing her senior internship at Grove City YMCA.

She will graduate in May 2012 and plans to continue her education toward a doctorate of Physical Therapy. Brittany is a 2008 graduate of Central Mountain High School.

Lycoming College Choir

The following local students have been named members of the Lycoming College Tour Choir: Alysia Williams of Renovo, a sophmore psychology and art major who sings soprano; and Andrew Paulhamus of Linden, a junior accounting and finance major, who sings tenor.

The Tour Choir is an ensemble of about 40 students who are selected by audition each November. Rehearsals begin in January and the choir will hold local concerts before participating in their spring break trip to California this year.

The Tour Choir is directed by Dr. Fred Thayer, who is also the conductor for the Lycoming College Choir and Chamber Choir.
