NEW FLORENCE -Tubmill Trout Club will be hosting the Eastern Championship Coyote Hunt, Feb. 24 through Feb. 26. The hunt is apart of a 5 state event participating in the championship. Prizes will be given for the top 20, plus a biggest female jackpot.

Liberty Township
Coyote Hunt
BLANCHARD - The Liberty Township Sportmen's Association will be holding their first annual Coyote Hunt. The event starts at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, March 9 and ends at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 11.
Prizes will be awarded for the top three places. First will receive 50% of prize money, second place will get 30% and third will bring in 20%.

Walk-in registration will also be accepted at the Sportsmen's club from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday Feb. 19 and Sunday Feb. 26
Registration is $10 for members of Liberty Township Sportmen's Association, $15 for non-members and $2 additional fee to enter the female coyote hunt.
Ruffed Grouse Society Banquet
STATE COLLEGE - The Red Brush Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society will hold their 25th Anniversary Banquet on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Penn Stater Conference Center. They will also honor the legacy of Jim and Sylvia Bashline. Cocktails begin at 5:30pm with dinner to follow at 7:15pm. Fly-tying classes
LOCK HAVEN - The Lloyd Wilson Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be holding their annual fly tying classes starting in March. Classes will be held weekly, starting March 7th and ending April 4th. Classes are held upstairs in the Citizen Hose Fire Company in Lock Haven. The cost is one dollar for youths per class and two dollars for adults per class. Classes start at 6:30PM and go to 8:00PM. Cabin Fever Outdoor Expo
MIFFLINBURG - The 13th annual Valley Outdoors/Standard Journal Cabin Fever Expo will be on Feb. 25 and Feb. 26 at the Mifflinburg Intermediate School.
This family-oriented show - a free admission event - will offer free how-to seminars, a free casting event, and a turkey calling contest. Children can make a free pinecone bird feeder, enter a coloring contest.
Guests can register to win door prizes, including grand prizes of: a cow elk hunt at Straight Pine Elk and Deer in Middleburg (ages 18 and up), A whitetail doe hunt at Nittany Whitetail Hunting Preserve in New Columbia (ages 12-17), a compound bow, and four pheasant hunts.
