LOCK HAVEN - The River of Life Worship Center is moving to a new location. After one year of meeting in a wide variety of places, River of Life will meet in a wonderful facility that is now available for worship gatherings on a regular basis.
Starting tomorrow, River of Life will meet each week at the Beth Yehuda Spiritual Center, 320 W. Church St., across the street from the old Lock Haven High School, in the fellowship hall at the rear of the building. Use the entrance on the left and go up the stairs.
Tomorrow's worship will be a special celebration service for the worship center's one-year anniversary, with a carry-in dinner following. It also will be a celebration of the new meeting place.
The Beth Yehuda Spiritual Center will become the new home of River of Life Worship Center, starting with a celebration service tomorrow at 10 a.m., followed by a carry-in dinner.
River of Life's worship style is contemporary, casual and family-oriented, so come as you are. Worship gatherings are at 10 a.m. Sundays and include a Children's Church ministry.
"Life in America gets so busy and hectic, it's hard for people to find a suitable place to restore their souls and connect with God. The focus of River of Life Worship Center is to get back to the basics of what the church is supposed to be... to simplify and remove some of the clutter that can actually hinder us from getting closer to God," according to Pastors Tom and Jane Seaman. "The vision of River of Life Worship Center is to be a place where people can come and experience the presence and power of God. If you are spiritually hungry and seeking for a place to connect with the God who created the universe, we invite you to come and check us out."
