JERSEY SHORE - Do you recognize this man?

That's what Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police are asking local residents as they continue an investigation into a home invasion in the borough Friday night.

Police said this morning they have received several phone calls since releasing the composite photo of the suspect over the weekend and are following up on leads.

They encourage anyone who believes they recognize the suspect or have any information on the incident to call police at 398-2146.

The female victim reported to police she was in her home on Allegheny Street at about 7 p.m. Friday when she discovered the suspect in her living room.

She said she had gone into her bedroom to get her cellphone and when she returned to the living room, the man was standing there.

She told police the man grabbed her, ripped her shirt and took her purse off of her shoulder, then dumped the contents of the purse onto the living room floor.

The victim was able to lock herself in the bathroom and called 911, police said.

She could hear the assailant mumbling to himself and then heard the front door close before officers arrived on the scene, according to the police.

Police said they searched the apartment but did not find the perpetrator.

The victim described the actor as being over 6 feet tall, weighing about 150 to 160 pounds and wearing a dark coat, dark hat, blue jeans and sneakers.

She said he had a raspy voice, a small nose, pushed-in cheeks and scruffy facial hair. There was no weapon involved in the incident and it is unknown whether the actor fled on foot or left in a vehicle, police said.
