Greene - Olshenske

Ashley Greene, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Greene of Lock Haven became the bride of Rudi Olshenske, son of Mr. and Mrs. . Paul Olshenske of Baden on Sept. 24, 2011.

The 2 p.m. ceremony was held in Immaculate Conception Church and the celebrant was the Rev. Joseph T. Orr.

The maid of honor was Kelly Greene, sister of the bide. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Raabe, sister of the groom, and Tristan Philbrook and Ruth McKeon, friends of the bride.

The flower girl was Sarah Harnishfinger, friend of the bride, Brenden Baldinger was ring bearer.

Best man was Steve Baldinger, friend of the groom. Ushers were Joe Brozki and Joe Hatcher, friends of the groom, and Bill Helzlsouer, cousin of the groom.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Pat Helbley as organist, Jackie Whitling, soloist, Ron Byham, trumpeter, and Henry Rublein, violinist.

The bride is a graduate of Lock Haven University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education, and a nursing degree from Penn College. She is a registered nurse with Oncology Associates.

Her husband served in the U.S. Marines and is a Criminal Justice graduate of Point Park University. He is employed by the U.S. Justice Department.

The wedding reception was held at the Durrwachter alumni Center. After a cruise to the Bahamas, the couple resides in Scranton.
