Auto accident

WOOLRICH - A motorist crashed his 2004 Hyundai Elantra on the Island Road in Dunnstable Township Wednesday at 10:20 a.m., Tpr. Shane M. Buffone of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. The driver was going west when the vehicle went out of control, crossed into the eastbound lane and crashed into an embankment, police said.Police did not list the name of the car's operator.

Theft of bike

FLEMINGTON - A 16-year-old's bicycle was stolen between Saturday and Tuesday at 306 Birch St., Flemington, Tpr. Christopher D. Wilson of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. The blue and silver "Next" mountain bike was stolen from that property, and anybody with information about the theft is asked to call 726-6000.

$9,300 in cash stolen

MILL HALL - Edward Holeman, 45, of Mill Hall, stole $9,300 from the coat of Henry Benton, 44, of Mill Hall, Tpr. Matt Maggs of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. The theft occurred Monday at 3 p.m. at Ruby Tuesday's in Bald Eagle Township, police said.

During the investigation, Holeman was also found to be in possession of a .32-caliber Smith and Wesson revolver, without holding a proper permit, police said.

Drunk driving alleged

LOCK HAVEN - Keisha Marie Kinley Baker, 19, of 124 Bellefonte Ave., was arrested for driving while intoxicated Feb. 3 on Church Street in the city, police said. She was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to be under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Two-vehicle crash

BEECH CREEK - A two-vehicle crash occurred on Route 150 in Beech Creek Township Monday at 6:41 p.m., Tpr. Brian Kunes of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Felicia M. Lewis, 33, of Howard was driving her 2004 Ford Taurus south with Stephanie Evers, 18, of Blanchard driving her 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 directly behind, when Lewis slowed to pull to the side of the road, and the pickup rammed into the rear of her vehicle, police said. Evers suffered a minor neck injury and was treated at Lock haven Hospital, police said. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.

Scattering rubbish

JERSEY SHORE A 24-year-old Jersey Shore man police did not identify is accused of scattering rubbish along the Fox Road just east of the Pine Mountain Road in Crawford Township Saturday, Sunday or Monday, Tpr. William Ritrosky of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Seven bags of household waste and a large cardboard box were tossed, and the identity of the culprit was revealed via the numerous pieces of mail addressed to the suspect, police said.

Drunk driving alleged

MILL HALL -James Weaver, 65, of Mechanicsburg, was arrested for driving while intoxicated Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. on Route 150 at the Lusk Run Road in Bald Eagle Township, Tpr. William Ritrosky of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Weaver's vehicle became disabled at that location and when police arrived on scene, they determined he had been operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Car collides with bridge

MACKEYVILLE - Clyde E. Weaver, 24, of Mill Hall was injured when he crashed his 2000 Pontiac Grand Am on Route 220 in Lamar Township Wednesday at 4 a.m., Tpr. Kenneth Riggle Jr. of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Weaver's auto crossed into the northbound lane and crashed into a bridge rail, then crossed back into the right side of the road and crashed into the other rail, police said. Weaver was taken to Lock Haven Hospital for treatment of injuries, police said.

Vehicles collide

LOGANTON - A two-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 80 in Greene Township Wednesday at 9:35 a.m., Tpr. William J. Ritrosky of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Sonam Norbu, 44, of Elmhurst, N.Y., was driving his 1999 Mercedes-Benz ML 320 west in the passing lane when he lost control of the car on the ice-covered road, police said. The auto struck the guide rails, skidded clockwise, traveled back onto the road and struck a 2011 Freightliner Cascadia operated by Robert L. Reed, 52, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., police said. Norbu suffered a minor injury in the crash, police said.

Underage drinking

LOGANTON - Joshua Jordan, 19, of Loganton, was cited for consumption of alcoholic beverages as a minor Tuesday at 9:10 p.m. along the Long Run Road in Greene Township, Tpr. William Ritrosky of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.

Theft from vehicle

LAMAR - A Stihl masonry saw was stolen from the bed of a pickup late Tuesday or early Wednesday at 87 Spring Run Road in Porter Township, Tpr. Shane Buffone of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. The truck and saw are owned by Randy Lloyd Workman, 51, of Lamar, police said.

Struck concrete bridge

McELHATTAN - Benjamin M. Kaler, 20, of Williamsport, crashed his 2006 Chevrolet Malibu on Route 220 in Wayne Township Wednesday at 7:55 a.m., Tpr. Shane M. Buffone of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Kaler was driving south and attempting to pass another vehicle when his car skidded out of control and crashed into a concrete bridge, police said.

Fugitive from justice

MILL HALL - Curtis Lee Reynolds, 50, of San Saba, Texas, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon at the Lock Haven Motel in Bald Eagle Township, Tpr. Shane Buffone of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Reynolds awaits extradition to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, police said.

One-car crash

MILL HALL - Eric O. Stover, 18, of Lock Haven, crashed his 2000 Lexus ES 300 on Keystone Central Drive in Bald Eagle Township Wednesday at 3:45 p.m., Tpr. Comfrey S. Ickes of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Stover was driving south when he failed to negotiate a turn and his car left the road, drove into the ditch and rolled onto its roof, police said. There were no injuries, police said.

Money stolen

LINDEN - Rick Pepperman, 46, of Linden, told Tpr. Sean A. Cooney of the Pennsylvania State Police in Montoursville that a quantity of currency was stolen after somebody broke into his residence at 1843 Chapel Hill Road, Anthony Township. The theft occurred last November, police said.

Accident

LOYALSOCK - Virginia A. Hill, 66, of Jersey Shore, crashed her auto on Washington Boulevard in Loyalsock Township Tuesday morning, Tpr. Brandon L. Schrawder of the Pennsylvania State Police at Montoursville said. Hill was driving east on Washington Street and failed to yield the right of way to a 2002 Subaru Outback driven by Christine Seitzer, 41, of Williamsport, police said. There were no injuries, police said.

Underage alcohol

LOCK HAVEN - Christopher Fravel, 20, of Jersey Shore, was cited for underage alcohol consumption Feb. 19 at 2:25 a.m. along West Main Street, Tpr. Christopher Wilson of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.

Adirondack chair stolen

LOCK HAVEN - A red cedar Adirondack chair valued at $250 was stolen late Friday or early Saturday from a porch at 528 W. Main St., city police said.
