Margaret "Marg" Confer celebrated her 90th birthday with family and friends at a surprise birthday dinner at the Lock Haven Moose Family Center on Feb. 3.
Marg is the daughter of the late Ray and Florence Walker. She grew up in Lizzardville and remained there most of her life with her husband, the late Carl "Nin" Confer.
She was a member of the last graduating class of The Old Lamar Twp. High School in 1938. Marg worked at Sylvania and Clinton Paper Co., and retired from Champion Parts. Family and friend have enjoyed her picnics, holiday gatherings and wonderful food. She likes reading, knitting, and traveling and watching TV.
The birthday dinner was attended by almost 80 of her family members and friends. A great afternoon was had by all and and she enjoyed seeing everyone together for the celebration.
