Auto accident
MILL HALL - A vehicle collided with a deer at 7:33 a.m. Thursday on Rt. 2020, Lusk Run Road in Bald Eagle Township, 607 feet north of the driver's driveway, investigator Michael J. Flook of Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.
Joyce M. Bannon, 44, of Lock Haven, was driving with an 8-year-old passenger approximately 35 miles per hour along Lusk Run Road when a deer ran across the road, police said. Bannon couldn't stop in time to avoid hitting the deer and hit it with the 2012 Nissan Versa's front end, police said.
The Nissan had major front-end damage, though the deer continued traveling west, police said. No injuries were reported, police said. Martin Motors towed the car, police said. No charges were given, police said.
Possible DUI
LOCK HAVEN - Matthew Brumbaugh, 33, of Lock Haven, failed to stop at a traffic stop Friday at 2:05 a.m. and crossed both lanes while entering a roadway on Hanna Street near East Bald Eagle Street, Lock Haven, Tpr. Andrew R. Mincer of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.
Further investigation revealed Mincer to be under the influence of alcohol, police said. Charges will be filed pending lab results, police said.
Two-vehicle crash
CENTRE HALL - Lisa L. Rivera, 46, of Centre Hall, was driving west on SR 45 on Friday at 1:58 p.m. and took her eyes off the roadway when she rear-ended 24-year-old Nathan W. Baumgardner's 2000 Freightliner FL112 with her 2005 Ford Mustang, investigator John J. Foley of Pennsylvania State Police at Rockview said.
She didn't see the stopped traffic ahead, police said. After impact, both vehicles were driven off the roadway, police said.
There were no injuries reported and both drivers wore seatbelts, police said.
Rivera was cited for following too closely, police said.
One-vehicle crash
DANVILLE - A 16-year-old male of Danville was driving his 2002 Honda Civic on State Hwy 642 when he swerved to the right and off the highway at 7:08 a.m. Friday and slid into a utility pole guy wire, investigator Larue V. Brion of Pennsylvania State Police at Milton said.
The driver was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured, police said.
He was charged with failing to stay in the lane, police said.
