Nursing aides get certificates after hospital course

After completing a course of training, which meant 100 hours of instruction, practice and theory in bedside care of patients, 13 nurses aides received certificates at the Lock?Haven Hospital. Most of them attended a graduation ceremony at the hospital, held in January 1961. They had training baths, bed-making, feeding patients, helping patients to walk, taking temperatures and other duties.
