Scott Ralph Welch and Amanda Elizabeth Gibson were united in marriage on Friday, Aug. 19, 201l.
The ceremony took place outdoors at sunset at the Historic Dubsdread in Orlando, Fla., with Rev. Chan Kilgore officiating. A reception in the ballroom followed. An additional reception was held at Haywood's on the Green, Mill Hall, for family and friends.
The groom is the son of Daniel and Marie Welch of Avis. The bride is the daughter of Dr. Jeff Ray and Linda Gibson of Temple, Texas.

The bride wore a slim A-line, strapless gown with dipped neckline and corset closure. The gown featured Georgette Chiffon ruching throughout the bodice, highlighted with embellished lace motifs. The back of the gown was gently gathered, creating a beautifully flowing train.
Maid of honor was Kathyrn Ward, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kathleen Brubaker and Jennifer Sims, friends of the bride, and Maria Welch, sister of the groom.
Best man was Jared Hollick, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were John Boggs and Dan Davies, friends of the groom, and Jeremy Gibson, brother of the bride.
After a trip to the Great Smokey Mountains, N.C., the couple is now residing in Orlando, Fla.
The groom is a graduate of Jersey Shore High School and obtained his Bachelors Degree from Penn State University in Information, Science and Technology. The bride graduated from Temple High School, and obtained her Bachelors Degree from the University of Texas, Austin, in Anthropology.
