LOCK HAVEN - Lock Haven University's Phi Sigma Pi will host an Easter egg hunt at Hanna Park at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The free event is for children ages 3 to 12.
The members of Phi Sigma Pi, a coeducational honor fraternity at LHU, have been working on this event all semester.
Adam Osborne of Phi Sigma Pi said, "The entire fraternity really enjoys working with kids, so this is an event that we take pride in planning and that we cannot wait for! We also try our best to get involved in the community, so this is an enjoyable and worthwhile way to do it."
Osborne said the event "will be far from small." The fraternity members will hide more than 800 eggs. The children will be divided into groups around the park, and each group will have approximately 200 eggs to find.
There will be other activities for the children to participate in as well, including the chance to make a photo frame out of popsicle sticks and the opportunity to have a photo taken with the Easter Bunny himself.
