JERSEY SHORE - Members of LaBelle Vallee F&AM Lodge No. 232 are busy planning their Second Annual Easter "Eggstravaganza" on March 31.
The day will begin at the Masonic Lodge, 201 S. Main St., with a breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Not only will there be pancakes, eggs, toast, homefries, cereal, donuts, juice, milk and coffee, but there will be plenty of door prizes, movies, a coloring contest and lots of photo opportunities with Peter Cottontail himself. The breakfast is free for children 3 and under and proceeds benefit the Freemason's local scholarship fund and new Summer Movie Nights.
At 11 a.m., the fun will continue with one of the largest Easter egg hunts in the area in the gazebo field on South Main Street (home of Santa's house). Once again, there will be more than 4,000 eggs, more than 100 prizes, a DJ playing kid-friendly music, visits with the Easter Bunny, free snacks by local businesses and much more.

The JS Mason’s Second Annual Easter ‘Eggstravaganza’ will be held on March 31.
The field will be divided into three areas for age groups 3 and under, 4 to 7 and 8 to 10 years old, and age-appropriate prizes will be awarded to those lucky enough to find a special token.
"Last year, the weather was not the greatest, but we had a huge turnout for these events", said Matt Watkins, Worshipful Master of the lodge. "The local businesses and community are behind us again and this year's event will be bigger and better than ever."
Additionally, to continue the Family Fun Day, the Independant Hose Fire Company No. 1 will host its annual Trout Fishing Derby at the firehouse at 130 Pennsylvania Ave., directly behind the Easter egg hunt, from noon to 4 p.m.
"The day will be packed with fun and excitement for everyone and we are sure no one will go away without a smile on their face," said Watkins.
