President Barack Obama and his administration is one of the hardest of presidencies to figure out. What I mean by that is in which direction he and his staff are trying to take the country down a particular path.
When I ask people what they think, many tell me its socialism. I am concerned about the president and his ideas of what is good for the U.S. and the people of this country.
Recently, out of nowhere, a word appeared to me: "fascism."
So I looked in the Webster dictionary and this is what it said: "Fascism: a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.
I believe our constitutional rights in this country are being threatened by overpowering political movements such as this current administration and Congress.
Here is an example: The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) passed by Congress and signed into law just last New Years Eve by President Obama.
This law gives the president the power to use the military against the citizens of the United States.
Tell me if that's Constitutional!
What has happened to our Bill of Rights?
Yes, we do need change and a lot of hope!
