William Calvin Barrow Jr., of 215 Bastress St., Jersey Shore died Saturday evening, March 31, 2012.
Born Dec. 12, 1923 in Lock Haven, he was the son of William C. Barrow Sr. and the former Beulah Washam.
Bill is survived by his wife the former Doris E. Brown. They were united in marriage March 17, 1947.
For many years he was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Jersey Shore and the Labelle Vallee Lodge #232 F.& A.M. of Jersey Shore. He is a 1941 graduate of the Lock Haven High School and in 1949 graduated from Lycoming College with B.S. degree in Business Administration.
Bill was retired from Textron after 24 years of service.
During World War II Bill honorably served his country in the United States Army from February 22, 1943 until January 4, 1946.
Also surviving are a son William C. (Lucille) Barrow III of Williamsport and a grandaughter Carrie D. Barrow.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Jersey Shore Cemetery. Certified Lay Minister Rebecca B. Cuddeback will officiate.
There will be no public visitation.
