LOCK HAVEN -Lock Haven University's Gay-Straight Alliance will host its annual Spring Drag Show tomorrow in Room 118 of the Health Professions Building to celebrate the end of LGBT Pride Week.
At 5:30 p.m., there will be a meet-and-greet reception where students, faculty and staff can enjoy refreshments and meet the professional drag queens. The drag show will begin at 6:30 p.m. This event is open to the public.
The show will be hosted by professional drag queen Scarlett Feva and well-known amateur Big Red. This interactive show is bound to keep the audience dancing and singing along to the hits. The Gay-Straight Alliance encourages everyone to come out and support a great cause while enjoying a unique show. There will be several raffle prizes, as well as giveaways.
Admission is $3 at the door or $2 for audience members bringing a pamphlet or handout showing that they attended a previous Pride Week event. All proceeds will benefit the AIDS Resource in State College.
Earlier in Pride Week, GSA sponsored a Day of Education and Recreation featuring games as well as informal guest speakers. Topics included healthy relationships, women's rights and more.
