Charles William Sheasley, 89, of Lock Haven, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Lock Haven Extended Care.
He was born on March 6, 1923 in Mill Hall, the son of the late James W. and Minnie Wilson Sheasley.
He was married to June Louise Sheasley who preceded him in death in 2004.
Charles was a self-employed painter. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by a son, Dennis Jay (Carolyn) Sheasley of McElhattan; a daughter, Ginger Davis of Georgia; a sister, Margaret Gephart of Harrisburg; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, William Lee Sheasley; two brothers and three sisters.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at noon at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Pastor Tim Boger officiating. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Cemetery, Blanchard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in Charles' name.
