LEWISBURG - Joe DeLauter was recently honored for outstanding business performance at the Home Instead Senior Care network's annual international meeting held in Omaha, Neb.
The Home Instead Senior Care network is the world's leading provider of non-medical, in-home care and companionship to older adults with offices worldwide including the Central Susquehanna River Valley area.
Locally, the Lewisburg branch serves Clinton, Lycoming, Snyder, Northumberland, Montour, Columbia and Union counties.
"I am pleased to be honored for serving this area's older adults who represent such an important legacy to our community," DeLauter said. "We share this honor with our dedicated staff and CAREGivers and thank them for their tireless service."
DeLauter was recognized with a Hallmark I Award, at the event. The award is presented for superior sales and service satisfaction.
This year's Home Instead Senior Care meeting, "It's Time," highlights the importance of facing the challenges of an aging population with a sense of urgency and understanding for the needs that are sure to come, considering the number of baby boomers who are becoming seniors each day.
