Lewis G. Reeder, 83, of 415 German Road, Swissdale, died Friday, April 27, 2012 at his residence.
He was born in Swissdale on Jan. 21, 1929, the son of the late Ward and Annie Heck Reeder.
Lewis retired from Woolrich after many years of service. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved his little dog and companion, Smokey.
He is survived by a brother, Paul (Jane) Reeder of Swissdale and a sister, Irene K. (Roy) Schrack of Avis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, James, Fred, Edward, Roy and Warren; and three sisters, Jennie Aikey, Annabelle Walton and Maude Wagner.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Swissdale Cemetery.
