Theresa M. Peluso, 96, of 52 Short St., Jersey Shore, died Sunday morning, April 29, 2012 in the Manor Care Health Center in Jersey Shore.
Born Aug. 30, 1915 in Blackwell, Pa., she was the daughter of Dominick Peluso and the former Dominica Denyas.
She was a lifelong member of the Church of St. Luke in Jersey Shore.
Theresa is survived by a sister, Lula Peluso of Jersey Shore.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; four sisters, Christina Peluso, Mary Peluso, Louise Stevenson and Jennie Peluso; six brothers, Pasquale, John, Joseph, Anthony, Vincent and Amelio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Luke, 120 Kendall Ave., Jersey Shore. Friends may call from 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of services in the church. Burial will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery. Father Bert Kozen will officiate. Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, is in charge of arrangements.
