SALONA - All friends of the Lamar Township Elementary School are invited to relive memories before the school closes next month.
The PTO plans a school and community picnic Sunday, May 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the school pavilion. The building will be open for a walk-through, and the picnic will move into the gym if the weather is inclement.
All alumni, friends, family, former teachers, staff and students are welcome. Assistance will be available for anyone who needs it.
Bring a covered dish for the meal at 1:30 p.m., and bring a chair. Water and carnival games will be provided by the Kiwanis Club of Bald Eagle and Nittany Valleys. Little Jimmie's Italian Water Ice also will be available for purchase.
