In any business, group, organization, city, county, state or federal organization, a person is selected, chosen or elected to lead for a time to better that entity.
But, one person can not do that job alone. The leader must appoint, delegate or assign all the various responsibilities to other workers or volunteers. This is a paramount necessity to accomplish a beneficial result for the leader who appoints them and is completely responsible for their actions and results.
All leaders must be judged by the end results of those he appointed or assigned the day-by-day responsibility of operating his area of command and expertise. Every business, organization, group, city, state and federal leader will be judged by the actions and results by these appointees he puts in charge with their responsibilities and actions and results.
Understanding the leader's appointments and results should be the real factor in their continued leadership and results.
When you hear the Secretary of Energy of the United States say he wants higher gas prices, who is responsible? When you hear a top EPA administrator say we ought to kill off some oil companies to get the rest to bow deep with respect, who is responsible?
America, both of these appointees in charge are still being paid by you, and the guy who put them in charge is the responsible leader in charge.
The same applies to the GSA Jamboree in Las Vegas.
