May 3, 2012
The Express

RENOVO - PennDOT has opened a section of Route 120 (Bucktail Trail Road) previously closed due to a mud slide.

Route 120 was closed between Route 872 (Stevenson Dam Road) in Grove Township, Cameron County, and the intersection with Keating Mountain Road in East Keating, Clinton County.

The roadway is now open with flaggers maintaining an alternating traffic pattern. At approximately 8 p.m., flood lights will be placed along Route 120. It is anticipated that both directions of the roadway will be open through the evening and early morning hours.

The area will be monitored to ensure there are no further slides.

Clean-up will continue tomorrow at approximately 7 a.m. with flaggers returning to an alternating traffic pattern.

PennDOT advises motorists to remain cautious and be alert for flaggers along Route 120. Drivers may encounter stopped or slowed traffic.
