Careless driving

LOCK HAVEN - An out-of-state tractor-trailer driver was cited for careless driving after he blocked both lanes of traffic on Susquehanna Avenue while attempting a U-turn Thursday morning, city police said.

Justin William Cronan, of Evansdale, Iowa, was driving his tractor-trailer north on Susquehanna Avenue at 10:21 a.m. when he tried to make a U-turn at the intersection with Sugar Run Road and got stuck, blocking both lanes of traffic, police said.

Cronan also damaged several PennDOT road signs and caused damage to the grass in Hanna Park and at a residence at 365 Susquehanna Ave., police said.
