The first of many workshops was presented at Two Sisters in Mill Hall by Sandy Considine and Tara Confer. They featured "Juicing for Your Health." Thirteen juices were made and participants got to sample them. Ranging from detox, immunity, energy, skin and digestion, the juices were made from fresh organic produce and fruits. Many health issues were covered. Packets of information on specific ailments with the type of food you juice with nutrient and benefits. Recipes were also handed out. Some of the vegetables juiced were sweet potatoes, parsnips, romaine lettuce and watercress. Morgan Confer was their helper for the evening serving the juices. The next workshop will be held May 21st on "Green Smoothies." Visit Sandy's website at encirclewellbeing.com to receive her free newsletter.
