Vandalism arrest
FARRANDSVILLE - Melissa Diane Conrad, 48 S. Parsons Drive, Mill Hall, was charged with criminal mischief Monday, Woodward Township police said. Police said Conrad caused damage to the grass area of Riverview Park after she drove her 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse across the turf. Conrad argued with another person and drove across several sections of the park while trying to speak to that individual, police said.
Outstanding warrant
LENAPE VILLAGE - Brett Hawkins, 28, of 102 Eighth St., Montgomery was apprehended May 7 on an outstanding warrant from the Lycoming County Domestic Relations Department, Woodward Township police said. Hawkins was delivered to the sheriff's department for processing, police said.
Rear-end crash
LOCK HAVEN - A two-vehicle crash occurred Monday at 9:17 p.m. at North Fairview and Fourth streets, city police said. Police said Robert Schrock of Mill Hall was driving south on North Fairview Street and was observing an oncoming vehicle with no lights on, when his 2002 Volkswagen Passat struck the rear of a stopped 2005 Ford pickup driven by Richard Confer of Lock Haven.
Criminal mischief
LOCK HAVEN - Somebody entered an unlocked car at 640 E. Bald Eagle St. late Sunday or early Monday, and damaged the glove box in an apparent attempt at theft, city police said. Police said the damage amounted to $100.
No injuries
LOCK HAVEN - A two-vehicle crash occurred Friday at 7:18 p.m. at East Walnut and South Vesper streets, city police said. Police said Rebecca Smith of Mill Hall was driving her 2009 Ford Expedition south on Vesper, stopped at the stop sign but failed to notice an oncoming 1999 Chevrolet van driven by Scott Snavely, because of the setting sun. The vehicles collided. There were no injuries, police said.
