Mary Elizabeth Hampe Heggenstaller, 84, of Loganton, was reunited with her Lord on Sunday, May 6, 2012, at the Williamsport Medical Center, surrounded by her beloved family.
Mary was born Dec. 22, 1927, in Oval, the daughter of Nathan Hampe and the former Cleta Welshans.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Heggenstaller Sr. on May 6, 2005. They were united in marriage on March 24, 1947, and shared a wonderful marriage of 58 years.

Mary was a talented musician and enjoyed taking rides with her family. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, John (Kay) Heggenstaller Jr. of Williamsport, Sol (Joan) Heggenstaller of Liverpool, Crystal (John) Smith of Williamsport, Tami Underkoffler of Loganton, Lee (Letti) Heggenstaller of Mill Hall and Molly (Wayne) of Mifflinburg; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; also a brother, Byrl Hampe and a sister, Janet (Bud).
Mary was preceded in death by two daughters, Cheryl Lynne and Gayle Cleta; a son, Dennis Delmar; a great-granddaughter, Lillianna Rose; and two siblings, George and Catherine.
Private family graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
Family will provide flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made in her name to the Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren, 2305 E. Winter Road, Loganton, PA 17747.
Arrangements are being handled by the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore.
