Rauchtown-Nippenose Valley Lions plan tractor parade, chicken barbeque

May 8, 2012
The Express

RAUCHTOWN - This year marks the eighth annual tractor parade sponsored by the Rauchtown - Nippenose Valley Lions.

The event continues to grow, and each year there are more tractor drivers registering and participating. In last year's parade there were nearly 40 tractors of all makes and sizes. Some were fully restored, while others were field ready.

This is one of three key fundraising events for the Lions. Along with the parade, the Lions will also serve breakfast and a chicken barbeque lunch. Profits from the event will benefit future Lions projects in the surrounding community.
