Sara Bowes and Travis Blaschke, both of Huntsville, AL., have announced their engagement and plans to marry on May 27, 2012 in Destin, FL.
Sara is the daughter of Michael Bowes of Lock Haven and Shirley and Robert Bloom of Lock Haven. She is the granddaughter of the late Jared and Lillian Bowes and Clarence E. and Lela Conner.
She is a 1998 graduate of Lock Haven High School and a 2002 graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering. Sara is employed as an electrical engineer by Raytheon in Huntsville.

Travis Blaschke
Travis, son of Stephen and Ellen Blaschke of Spokane, WA., is a 1999 graduate of Shadle Park High School in Spokane. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management in 2003 from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA.
He is a U.S. Army aviation officer and Black Hawk pilot serving out of Huntsville. Commissioned in 2003, he has been deployed twice to Iraq and once to Afghanistan and is currently serving another tour in Afghanistan. His military awards include Bronze Star and Air Medal.
