Public intoxication
LOCK HAVEN - Joseph A. Popkey, 28, of 20233 Wind Ave., Warren, was cited for public intoxication Sunday at 171 N. Fairview St., city police said. Police said Popkey was attempting to enter the rear of a residence in the mistaken believe he was actually four residences away from the home he wanted.
Theft from vehicle
LAMAR -Erin Gardner, 27, of 5038 Nittany Valley Drive told police a wallet and personal items were stolen from her car late Thursday or early Friday near her residence. In another theft from a vehicle, Mark Hoy, 43,k of Furnace Road, Mill Hall, told Tpr. Christopher Soo that a pistol and wallet were stolen from his car. An attempt was also made on Tara Johnstonbaugh's vehicle but the alarm apparently stopped that effort.
Cabin burglary
KEATING - A burglary occurred late Wednesday or early Thursday at a cabin off the Keating Mountain Road in West Keating Township, Trp. A.M. Sheridan said. William Page of Mifflinburg, the owner, said two shotguns, chainsaws, a propane tank, digital camera, binoculars and other personal items were stolen.
One-car crash
MILL HALL - Erma Richner, 99, of Blanchard crashed her 1994 Buick LeSebre on Route 150 in Bald Eagle Township Thursday at 12:35 p.m., Tpr. Timothy Wright of the State Police at Lamar said. Police said Richner was driving south when she lost control of her vehicle, which left the road and crashed into a ditch before coming to rest some 60 yards down the highway. There were no injuries, police said.
Ring stolen, sold
LOGANTON - A white gold opal ring was stolen from the home of Rachel Amanda Hill, 24, of 614 Rauchtown Road, Loganton, Tpr. Timothy T. Wright of the State Police at Lamar said. Police said the theft occurred May 6 to 8, and the jewelry was subsequently sold to Addies Inc., 124 E. Main St., Lock Haven. Charges of theft and theft by deception will be filed against Tyler H. Riggleman, 18, of 22 Hillspire Drive, Lock Haven, police said.
Criminal mischief
FLEMINGTON - Judith Yost, 63, of Lock Haven reported a case of vandalism late Wednesday or early Thursday along Fourth Street in the borough, Tpr. William Ritrosky of the State Police at Lamar said. Yost told police somebody attempted to pry open the front passenger door of her 2011 Chevrolet HHR.
Harassment charged
MILL HALL - Christopher Confer, 36, of Beech Creek was cited for harassment and criminal mischief Saturday along the Laurel Run Road in Bald Eagle Township, Tpr. William Ritrosky of the State Police at Lamar said. Police said Confer squeezed the hand of a female, 30, of Beech Creek, in an attempt to take the victim's car keys. He then tried to pry open the trunk of the victim's vehicle, damaging it in the process, police said.
Medicine stolen
LOGANTON - Robert Charles Patterson, 84, of 2169 E. Valley Road, Loganton, told police an individual stole his prescription medicine late Saturday or early Sunday, at his home. The investigation is continuing, Tpr. Homan of the State Police at Lamar said.
Two-vehicle crash
LOGANTON - A two-vehicle crash occurred on Route 44 in Grugan Township Sunday at 10:10 a.m., Tpr. Homan of the State Police at Lamar said. Police said Michael Gene Lazorchak of Galeton was driving north on Route 44 and was following a 2006 Ford F-150 when Lazorchak's Silver Subaru Outback struck the rear left bumper of the pickup being operated by Larry Butt of Denver, Pa.
Juveniles cited
MILL HALL - Two 15-year-old boys were cited for retail theft Saturday at Wal-Mart Super Center in Bald Eagle Township, Tpr. William Ritrosky of the State Police at Lamar said. Both were accused of trying to steal earphones from the store.
Theft of scooter
LOCK HAVEN - A black three-wheel scooter with bright green wheels was stolen Friday afternoon from the rear of a home at 56 E. Church St., city police said. Police estimated the loss at $100.
Disorderly conduct
LOCK HAVEN - City police investigated a disturbance Friday at 2:09 p.m. at 38 Susquehanna Ave. According to police, four individuals, including a male and female in their 40s and a two males in their 30s, were caught digging in a dumpster. When they were confronted they became belligerent and one of the males brandished a knife before the four drove off, police said.
Vending machine stolen
LOCK HAVEN - A newspaper vending machine valued at $450 was stolen from outside the Econo-Wash Laundromat, 801 Bellefonte Ave., city police said. The theft occurred May 7 or 8, police said.
Money stolen
LOCK HAVEN -Eric Watkins, 30, of Rear 238 W. Church St., was charged with a theft that occurred May 9 at 246 Main St., Mill Hall, city police said. Police said Watkins stole money from a female after being given a ride from Lock haven to Mill Hall.
Simple assault
LOCK HAVEN - Kristina Homan, 31, of West Church St., and Chelsea Watson, 22, of 212 E. Logan St., Bellefonte, were cited for simple assault and harassment for an episode that occurred May 21, city police said. Police said the two were fighting in Marys Alley.
